SPECIAL REPORT: Failed Car Bombing in Times Square

Posted by Admin on May 1, 2010

Time square was evacuted around 6:30 pm on Saturday, May 1, 2010 due to what police discovered was a failed bombing attempt.  There was a man reportedly Middle-Eastern in appearance running from the scene, but there is no name of a suspect available at this time.  No injuries are reported at this time.

A firefighter saw a “flash”, and smoke coming from what was described as an SUV, and a man running away.

Here is his quote from a Reuter’s article @ Yahoo! News:

“Another New York City firefighter who said he arrived early on the scene described the vehicle as a dark-colored SUV, and said it was parked at the corner of 45th Street and Seventh Avenue. He confirmed the vehicle was smoking and also said he saw “a flash” from the back of the SUV. The firefighter said a “mini-explosion” occurred around 6:30 p.m.” ~ NY Times Sq. Evacuated After Failed Car Bomb ~ Reuter’s

Due to scheduled and historic protests today, some speculation in the blogosphere is addressing the issues of International Workers’ Day (a labor holiday observed by Socialists, Communists, Marxists, Stalinists, and Anarchists worldwide), as well as being the day that Pro-Illegal Immigration Rallies were planned to occur in 70 cities (reportedly turnout for the latter was down compared to the protests in 2006).  Reports of someone who is Middle-Eastern looking brings up the subject of Islamic Terrorism.  Most people speculate that those may be the top 3 suspected sources for this attempted terrorist attack in the heart of The Big Apple.

Since the bomb was being detonated at 6:30 pm, it would have been targeted at the Matinee Crowd attending many top Broadway Shows in the area, and tourists.

The Anti-Obama March on Washington – Millions in attendance?

Posted by Admin on September 13, 2009

UPDATED: There are updated numbers from the U.S. Parks Police — they now estimate that 1.2 Million Protesters attended the Grassroots March on Washington on 9/12/09.

March on Washington

The blog “Exposing Obama” has posted information about the march today including pictures of the crowds.  There are several different versions on the count going around.  NBC’s “own people” say at least hundreds of thousands”, and the Daily Mail in the UK are reporting up to 2 million were there.

They had to close down Pennsylvania Avenue to accomodate protestors who were trying to get to the mall.

This was a great day for our country, for so many to take time out and come tell our government “in person” that we are TIRED of the lies, and the out of control slide into a Communist or Fascist country.

Be sure to check out the coverage – print, video & pictures!

Neo-Soviet Attempted Coup Underway at Georgian Military Base

Posted by Admin on May 6, 2009

MORE INFORMATION TO FOLLOW THIS POSTING SOON…

I also have some resource links listed in my Focus Page: War in Georgia from my coverage of the invasion back in August of 2008.

Georgia is basically at War with Neo-Soviet Russia – dealing with a Neo-Soviet Russian coup at a Military Base.  The officials within the Democratic Nation of Georgia have reported that those involved in the rebellion are following plans made by Neo-Soviet Russians who are also charged with bribery of those involved in what would appear from Georgia’s contentions to be mutinous actions within their military.

Below, please find an article from Reuter’s News service.  It is an excerpt.  The full article can be read by following the link below this article.

Georgia Says Coup Underway at Military Base

Reuters News Service |Tuesday,  5/5/09 | Matt Robinson

Georgia said on Tuesday a Russian-planned coup plot had been uncovered within the military of the former Soviet republic and a rebellion was under way at a military base near the capital.

The Interior Ministry said those involved in the plot had received money from Russia which has criticized NATO military exercises in Georgia due to begin on Wednesday.

“The main aim of this uprising was to disrupt the NATO military exercises,” Defense Minister David Sikharulidze told Reuters. “We are in negotiations with the soldiers at the Mukhrovani base and I hope this uprising will end soon.”

Sikharulidze said the commanders of the military base 19 km (12 miles) from the capital Tbilisi had been dismissed and the soldiers confined to barracks.

The Interior Ministry said one person had been arrested.

“They (the plotters) were receiving money from Russia,” ministry spokesman Shota Utiashvili told a news conference. “It seems it was coordinated with Russia.”

Racism and the Obama Campaign

Posted by Admin on October 12, 2008

Over the course of this election we have been hearing Obama shout about racism.  We have seen him play the race card over, and over again.  Whenever Obama’s opponents uncover more dirt on him, he blames it all on some perceived effort to try to make him look bad because of the color of his skin.

Geraldine Ferraro brought this up during the Democratic Primaries, and she was shouted down.  Now, the Republicans, and their candidates are being accused of being racist?  Enough is enough.  I have a little history lesson for everyone…

1. Abraham Lincoln who was the Republican Party’s First President was the man responsible for the Emancipation Proclamation which freed all slaves.

2. Democrats, primarily in the South were the ones who wrote and enforced the “Jim Crow Laws” that subjugated former slaves, and their now-free children, and granchildren.

3. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Republican. Frederick Douglass was a Republican.  George Wallace was a Democrat.

4. It was the Republicans in Congress who pushed for and passed the Civil Rights Amendment while Democrats fought against it.

5. It is Conservatives and Democrats of all ethnic backgrounds that has examined the content of Barack Obama’s character, and found it sorely lacking, and indeed dangerous.

6. In his book, Obama himself wrote that playing the race card could help keep people focused on things OTHER than the accusations being brought against you in an election (he learned this watching Harold Washington, Jr.’s Campaign in Chicago.

I will leave you with the following wisdom from some true American Heroes of Equality:

“There is a class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs. There is a certain class of race-problem solvers who don’t want the patient to get well.”

– Booker T. Washington

“Every colored man who has a vote to cast, would cast that vote for the regular Republican Party and thus bury the Democratic Party so deep that there will not be seen even a bubble coming form the spot where the burial took place.”

– Robert Smalls, Civil War Hero & Ex-Slave

“I am a Republican, a black, dyed in the wool Republican, and I never intend to belong to any other party than the party of freedom and progress.”

– Frederick Douglass

Obama’s Contradictions and Lies about HIMSELF!

Posted by Admin on September 26, 2008

Hello loyal readers,

I’m sure most of you, like me, watched the debate between Sen. John McCain, and Sen. Barack Obama tonight.  It was certainly interesting…

At this moment I am going back through the debate, and having a great time picking out all the lies, inconsistencies, and contradictions made by Obama tonight.  While I’ve got a pretty long list already, I’d like to give my readers an opportunity to add to it!

So, if you remember a specific comment made by Obama that you know to be a (so-called) “mis-statement”, please feel free to make a comment below.  (Comments are moderated, so I will check back periodically as I’m doing my research to approve respectful comments).

If you are an Obama supporter running across this post, I’d like to hear from you as well – as long as you keep it clean, and respectful.  Was there something that you believe McCain said that wasn’t true about Obama?  If so, please submit that as well.  I will do my best to be fair in rebutting your charges against him with facts, and citations for my sources (the same as I will be doing to prove my case against Obama).

Ok, well I’ve got a LOT of stuff to go through right now, and some research to complete so I’ll wrap up this particular post.  If you run across anything else that you feel is important that I should include in my summation of the debate, please feel free to comment on that as well — or add your comments on the debate itself!  As I said – as long as it’s respectful, I welcome comments by Obama supporters (or Libertarians, or Greens, or any other party’s supporters) as well.

Take care for now everyone, and I’ll try to post my summation within the next few hours, if not in the morning.

VIDEO: What Caused Our Economic Crisis?

Posted by Admin on September 26, 2008

I don’t have a lot of time to write tonight, but I did want to share this video.  It goes a little fast in some places, so you may wish to have your mouse above the pause button, but this particular video is packed with excellent research and facts surrounding our current economic crisis, and the varied causes behind it…

Oh, and as for this “bailout”?  NO WAY, NO HOW!  We CANNOT let Congress foist this socialist plan upon us.  Plain and simple – it’s economic terrorism. More about that tomorrow if I have time.  Otherwise, I would definitely suggest doing as much reading as you can about these proposed plans, they are NOT what they seem!

Obama Digs Another Hole with New Campaign Ad – PART II

Posted by Admin on September 12, 2008

Well, a few hours ago I posted information about an ad that Democratic Presidential Nominee Barack Obama had begun to air in various places around the country.  The title of the ad is “1982”, and if you haven’t seen it yet, you can view it at this URL: “New Obama Campaign Ad: “1982”.

Let’s run down 2 of the charges that Obama leveled against McCain in this ad…

OBAMA SAID: “Things have changed in 26 years, but McCain hasn’t.”

MISLEADING…
Just this morning (9/12/08) one of Joy Behar’s chief complaints expressed to John McCain when he went on the TV show “The View” was that McCain used to be a “maverick”, but that he was no longer that way.  McCain responded by saying that he was still the exact same person he’s always been.  It would seem that McCain’s own opponent agrees – McCain hasn’t changed in some very important ways over the last 26 years, and that is a good thing.

OBAMA SAID: “Admits he still doesn’t know how to use a computer” & “Can’t send an email”.

I hate to break it to Obama and his ad staff who are probably in the middle of congratulating themselves right now on their “new tone” attack ads, but I was right in the previous post where I postulated that perhaps John McCain did not use email, and did not type because I thought it may be difficult for him given his severe injuries in the crash of his fighter jet, and his 5+ subsequent years of torture and poor medical care in a POW camp in North Vietnam.

Following is an excerpt from an article that was posted on Forbes.com in which they reported – 0all the way back in 2000 – that McCain cannot type emails due to his injuries, and that his wife Cindy and he answer email together in the evenings – a daily ritual for the two.  It also shows that McCain is far from the computer illiterate, old and out of touch man Obama implied…

In certain ways, McCain was a natural Web candidate. Chairman of the Senate Telecommunications Subcommittee and regarded as the U.S. Senate’s savviest technologist, McCain is an inveterate devotee of email. His nightly ritual is to read his email together with his wife, Cindy. The injuries he incurred as a Vietnam POW make it painful for McCain to type. Instead, he dictates responses that his wife types on a laptop. “She’s a whiz on the keyboard, and I’m so laborious,” McCain admits.

I’m rather sad that I am right about this.  I would prefer that John McCain not have been injured in the Vietnam War, and I know the vast majority of Americans agree that we completely respect his service and sacrifice to our country.  However, I would like to also point out that this makes John McCain particularly suited to addressing some of the most pressing issues facing our country.  He knows what sacrifice is, and he’s seen first hand the brutal nature of war.  That, IMHO, makes him much better suited than a Freshman Senator with no military experience to lead our country during a time of war.  Whether we like it or not, we are there, our enemies are STILL there, and we need someone who knows what works and doesn’t work when it comes to diplomacy, and heaven forbid, military actions if needed.

Right now I would like to share with Obama something that he should have, and probably would’ve learned had he attended a less racist church for the last 20+ years…

Proverbs 16:18 (King James Version):
Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

For the Democrats who are becoming more and more disenchanted with Obama every day… Please try to look beyond your hatred for President Bush, and honestly look at your options here.  John McCain is NOT going to alter the Constitution, he is going to get the government back on track.  He recognizes that Bush was by no means perfect, and he wants to rectify that situation.  Please look with an open mind.  Visit his website, read his position on the issues, and don’t give in to knee-jerk reactions.

Barack Obama displays the hallmark traits of a Marxist.  His political campaign was launched in the home of an unrepentant known Communist “Revolutionary” Terrorist who bombed the Pentagon and the Capital building as the leader of the 60s terrorist organization the “Weather Underground” (sometimes referred to as “The Weatherman”).  He has accepted the endorsement of a very well-known, and rather radical socialist political group in Chicago throughout his career in the Daley Political Machine.  He has also spoken about attending socialist seminars in college at Columbia University.

Please also consider what socialism would indeed do to our country.  The first thing socialists do is take away the people’s rights, via “suspension” and it all goes down hill from there.  Consider this for a moment — let’s assume Obama is a righteous man, and “socialism would work if done the “right” way”.  What guarantee do we have that the next administration, or the one after that wouldn’t take advantage of the laws and plunge America into the hell that was the Soviet Union under the likes of Stalin, or Germany under Hitler, or China under Mao Tse-Tung?

Let’s join together and make our country strong, secure and prosperous.  We have the resources, and the know-how to make our country great again – as well as cleaning up Washington and getting rid of the special interests, and the “old boy network” and the corruption.  We can also work together to be responsible for our environment, and to tackle poverty and education issues by implementing all of our possible options in each area.  That American ingenuity, and ability to solve problems is one of the greatest things about our country.  Our freedom guarantees that we can pursue these things, and that ultimately we will be successful and not have to sacrifice any of our inalienable rights.

I know this may sound cheesy to some of you, but I’m really not bothered by that.  I have 4 children that I want to grow up in a peaceful world, and that demands that we take care of the threats facing our nation so that our enemies don’t have an opportunity to grow stronger, and to threaten us, and so our children are not the ones stuck with solving the problems.  That’s the hope I have for the future – a real hope built on solid, proven, successful ideals supported throughout the history of our country.  I honestly don’t know who can argue with that…

Well, thanks for listening to my somewhat rant! LOL  I do hope everyone has a great weekend – whether you agree with me or not! 😉

God bless,
LibertyRocks

War in Georgia – News Clips for August 12, 2008

Posted by Admin on August 12, 2008

Following are links to various articles and resources with more information about the War over South Ossetia between Russia & Georgia.  More articles will be added throughout the day…

MSM COVERAGE:

Russian President Halts Attacks on Georgia
– Agence France-Presse (AFP) Newswire – Aug. 12, 2008

EXCERPT:
MOSCOW (AFP) – President Dmitry Medvedev on Tuesday ordered a halt to Russia’s military offensive against Georgia saying it had been punished but could be hit again.

“The aggressor has been punished and suffered significant losses,” Medvedev told defence chiefs at a meeting on the South Ossetia conflict, which Russia says has left at least 2,000 civilians dead.

“I have taken the decision to end the operation to force Georgian authorities into peace.”

Russian troops and tanks poured in to Georgia after the Georgian army launched an offensive last week to bring South Ossetia, the Russian-backed region which broke away in the early 1990s, back under government control.

The United Nations estimated that more than 100,000 people have been displaced by the fighting.

“The purpose of the operation has been achieved…. The security of our peacekeeping forces and the civilian population has been restored,” Medvedev added while insisting any new Georgian attacks would be “liquidated.”

A senior Russian military commander General Anatoly Nogovitsyn also said the halt in the Russian advance into Georgia would not stop reconnaissance and other operations.

Georgia, which had offered a ceasefire, said several Georgian villages were bombed after the announcement. Russia’s military angrily denied the claim and said Georgian soldiers were still firing at its troops.

In a show of defiance, 100,000 people crammed onto the main Rustaveli avenue of the Georgian capital, Tbilisi, where a sea of red and white flags hung above the crowds.

People handed out free T-shirts reading: “We are together, we are united.”

President Mikheil Saakashvili told the crowd that Georgia would quit the Russian-led Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), a grouping of former Soviet states, and urged Ukraine to follow suit.

BLOG ROUND-UP:

McCain Steps Up Criticism of Russia
– Blogs @ The Wall Street Journal (WSJ.com) – Aug. 11, 2008
by Amy Chozick

EXCERPT:

“Americans wishing to spend August vacationing with their families or watching the Olympics may wonder why their newspapers and television screens are filled with images of war in the small country of Georgia. Concerns about what occurs there might seem distant and unrelated to the many other interests America has around the world. And yet Russian aggression against Georgia is both a matter of urgent moral and strategic importance to the United States of America,” he said in a statement while campaigning in Erie, Pa.

The Republican candidate who has largely staked his campaign against Barack Obama on national security called for an emergency meeting of G-7 nations to handle the escalating crisis. He also said NATO should convene an emergency meeting to demand a ceasefire. He said NATO should begin discussing deploying an international peacekeeping force to South Ossetia, one of two separatists regions of Georgia that are pro-Russia.

“What the people of Georgia have accomplished – in terms of democratic governance, a Western orientation, and domestic reform – is nothing short of remarkable. That makes Russia’s recent actions against the Georgians all the more alarming. In the face of Russian aggression, the very existence of independent Georgia – and the survival of its democratically elected government – are at stake,” McCain said.
