Racism and the Obama Campaign

Posted by Admin on October 12, 2008

Over the course of this election we have been hearing Obama shout about racism.  We have seen him play the race card over, and over again.  Whenever Obama’s opponents uncover more dirt on him, he blames it all on some perceived effort to try to make him look bad because of the color of his skin.

Geraldine Ferraro brought this up during the Democratic Primaries, and she was shouted down.  Now, the Republicans, and their candidates are being accused of being racist?  Enough is enough.  I have a little history lesson for everyone…

1. Abraham Lincoln who was the Republican Party’s First President was the man responsible for the Emancipation Proclamation which freed all slaves.

2. Democrats, primarily in the South were the ones who wrote and enforced the “Jim Crow Laws” that subjugated former slaves, and their now-free children, and granchildren.

3. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Republican. Frederick Douglass was a Republican.  George Wallace was a Democrat.

4. It was the Republicans in Congress who pushed for and passed the Civil Rights Amendment while Democrats fought against it.

5. It is Conservatives and Democrats of all ethnic backgrounds that has examined the content of Barack Obama’s character, and found it sorely lacking, and indeed dangerous.

6. In his book, Obama himself wrote that playing the race card could help keep people focused on things OTHER than the accusations being brought against you in an election (he learned this watching Harold Washington, Jr.’s Campaign in Chicago.

I will leave you with the following wisdom from some true American Heroes of Equality:

“There is a class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs. There is a certain class of race-problem solvers who don’t want the patient to get well.”

– Booker T. Washington

“Every colored man who has a vote to cast, would cast that vote for the regular Republican Party and thus bury the Democratic Party so deep that there will not be seen even a bubble coming form the spot where the burial took place.”

– Robert Smalls, Civil War Hero & Ex-Slave

“I am a Republican, a black, dyed in the wool Republican, and I never intend to belong to any other party than the party of freedom and progress.”

– Frederick Douglass

Obama Digs Another Hole with New Campaign Ad – PART II

Posted by Admin on September 12, 2008

Well, a few hours ago I posted information about an ad that Democratic Presidential Nominee Barack Obama had begun to air in various places around the country.  The title of the ad is “1982”, and if you haven’t seen it yet, you can view it at this URL: “New Obama Campaign Ad: “1982”.

Let’s run down 2 of the charges that Obama leveled against McCain in this ad…

OBAMA SAID: “Things have changed in 26 years, but McCain hasn’t.”

MISLEADING…
Just this morning (9/12/08) one of Joy Behar’s chief complaints expressed to John McCain when he went on the TV show “The View” was that McCain used to be a “maverick”, but that he was no longer that way.  McCain responded by saying that he was still the exact same person he’s always been.  It would seem that McCain’s own opponent agrees – McCain hasn’t changed in some very important ways over the last 26 years, and that is a good thing.

OBAMA SAID: “Admits he still doesn’t know how to use a computer” & “Can’t send an email”.

I hate to break it to Obama and his ad staff who are probably in the middle of congratulating themselves right now on their “new tone” attack ads, but I was right in the previous post where I postulated that perhaps John McCain did not use email, and did not type because I thought it may be difficult for him given his severe injuries in the crash of his fighter jet, and his 5+ subsequent years of torture and poor medical care in a POW camp in North Vietnam.

Following is an excerpt from an article that was posted on Forbes.com in which they reported – 0all the way back in 2000 – that McCain cannot type emails due to his injuries, and that his wife Cindy and he answer email together in the evenings – a daily ritual for the two.  It also shows that McCain is far from the computer illiterate, old and out of touch man Obama implied…

In certain ways, McCain was a natural Web candidate. Chairman of the Senate Telecommunications Subcommittee and regarded as the U.S. Senate’s savviest technologist, McCain is an inveterate devotee of email. His nightly ritual is to read his email together with his wife, Cindy. The injuries he incurred as a Vietnam POW make it painful for McCain to type. Instead, he dictates responses that his wife types on a laptop. “She’s a whiz on the keyboard, and I’m so laborious,” McCain admits.

I’m rather sad that I am right about this.  I would prefer that John McCain not have been injured in the Vietnam War, and I know the vast majority of Americans agree that we completely respect his service and sacrifice to our country.  However, I would like to also point out that this makes John McCain particularly suited to addressing some of the most pressing issues facing our country.  He knows what sacrifice is, and he’s seen first hand the brutal nature of war.  That, IMHO, makes him much better suited than a Freshman Senator with no military experience to lead our country during a time of war.  Whether we like it or not, we are there, our enemies are STILL there, and we need someone who knows what works and doesn’t work when it comes to diplomacy, and heaven forbid, military actions if needed.

Right now I would like to share with Obama something that he should have, and probably would’ve learned had he attended a less racist church for the last 20+ years…

Proverbs 16:18 (King James Version):
Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

For the Democrats who are becoming more and more disenchanted with Obama every day… Please try to look beyond your hatred for President Bush, and honestly look at your options here.  John McCain is NOT going to alter the Constitution, he is going to get the government back on track.  He recognizes that Bush was by no means perfect, and he wants to rectify that situation.  Please look with an open mind.  Visit his website, read his position on the issues, and don’t give in to knee-jerk reactions.

Barack Obama displays the hallmark traits of a Marxist.  His political campaign was launched in the home of an unrepentant known Communist “Revolutionary” Terrorist who bombed the Pentagon and the Capital building as the leader of the 60s terrorist organization the “Weather Underground” (sometimes referred to as “The Weatherman”).  He has accepted the endorsement of a very well-known, and rather radical socialist political group in Chicago throughout his career in the Daley Political Machine.  He has also spoken about attending socialist seminars in college at Columbia University.

Please also consider what socialism would indeed do to our country.  The first thing socialists do is take away the people’s rights, via “suspension” and it all goes down hill from there.  Consider this for a moment — let’s assume Obama is a righteous man, and “socialism would work if done the “right” way”.  What guarantee do we have that the next administration, or the one after that wouldn’t take advantage of the laws and plunge America into the hell that was the Soviet Union under the likes of Stalin, or Germany under Hitler, or China under Mao Tse-Tung?

Let’s join together and make our country strong, secure and prosperous.  We have the resources, and the know-how to make our country great again – as well as cleaning up Washington and getting rid of the special interests, and the “old boy network” and the corruption.  We can also work together to be responsible for our environment, and to tackle poverty and education issues by implementing all of our possible options in each area.  That American ingenuity, and ability to solve problems is one of the greatest things about our country.  Our freedom guarantees that we can pursue these things, and that ultimately we will be successful and not have to sacrifice any of our inalienable rights.

I know this may sound cheesy to some of you, but I’m really not bothered by that.  I have 4 children that I want to grow up in a peaceful world, and that demands that we take care of the threats facing our nation so that our enemies don’t have an opportunity to grow stronger, and to threaten us, and so our children are not the ones stuck with solving the problems.  That’s the hope I have for the future – a real hope built on solid, proven, successful ideals supported throughout the history of our country.  I honestly don’t know who can argue with that…

Well, thanks for listening to my somewhat rant! LOL  I do hope everyone has a great weekend – whether you agree with me or not! 😉

God bless,
LibertyRocks

Obama Exposed – 1995 Interview Proves him a Collectivist

Posted by Admin on April 1, 2008

This post was originally published on the LibertyRocks.us Blog –
BREAKING NEWS: Obama’s 1995 Interview Exposes Him as a Collectivist.

First, for those of you who may not be familiar with what Collectivism is, let’s look to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary for a definition;

COLLECTIVISM:
1
:a political or economic theory advocating collective control especially over production and distribution; also : a system marked by such control
2: emphasis on collective rather than individual action or identity

– Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary; Entry – Collectivism
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/Collectivism
Accessed on March 31, 2008

Here is another, perhaps more complete, definition:

Collectivism holds that the individual is not an end to himself,
but is only a tool to serve the ends of the group.

What is the key principle underlying collectivism?
The theory of collectivism (in all its variants) holds that man is not an end to himself, but is only a tool to serve the ends of others. Collectivism, unlike individualism, holds the group as the primary, and the standard of moral value. Whether that group is a dictator’s gang, the nation, society, the race, (the) god(s), the majority, the community, the tribe, etc., is irrelevant — the point is that man in principle is a sacrificial victim, whose only value is his ability to sacrifice his happiness for the will of the “group”.

What is the opposite of collectivism?
The opposite of collectivism is individualism. Individualism declares that each and every man, may live his own life for his own happiness, as an end to himself. Politically, the result of such as principle is capitalism: a social system where the individual does not live by permission of others, but by inalienable right.

Now that you know what Communism, oops, I mean collectivism is, you will know what to look for as you read the interview linked below that Barack Obama gave just 10 years ago…

Here are just two of the more audacious quotes from the interview;

[One Quick Note; As I was reading this, before posting this piece on my blog, I thought to myself, “Wow, the title of Obama’s book was really like a freudian slip wasn’t it. Obama and his closest supporters actually had the “Audacity to Hope”, that people wouldn’t realize the true content of his character in a National Campaign. The Democrats really messed this one up allowing him to get this far – unless this is what they all believe! I guess we shouldn’t be surprised really… A quote of Maya Angelou’s came to my attention in the last few days, she said (paraphrased) Believe somebody when they show you who they are… the FIRST time.]

Anyone familiar with Star Trek will identify the first quote of Obama’s as sounding eerily familiar to the Borg! Automatons without thoughts of their own, with no desire, but that of the collective. Does Barack imagine himself some come-to-life version of the Borg Queen?

Obama on Individualism, vs. Collective thought, action and deed…
Borg Drone from Star Trek In America,” Obama says, “we have this strong bias toward individual action. You know, we idolize the John Wayne hero who comes in to correct things with both guns blazing. But individual actions, individual dreams, are not sufficient. We must unite in collective action, build collective institutions and organizations.”

– Barack Obama,
Interview with the Chicago Reader, 1995

Obama on the Million Man March, which he attended:
Historically, African-Americans have turned inward and towards black nationalism whenever they have a sense, as we do now, that the mainstream has rebuffed us, and that white Americans couldn’t care less about the profound problems African-Americans are facing

– Barack Obama,
Interview with the Chicago Reader, 1995

Please go to Nice Deb’s Blog to read the rest of the interview…

OH, WAIT!!! I almost forgot! What about Hillary, you say?

In case you think I’m just slammin’ Obama, please consider the following – Hillary is no different than Barack. She just has a different name for describing the good Democrats that she has met along the campaign trail. She describes them as good “Communitarians“. [Communitarianism is basically the same as collectivism, denial of all forms of self, in the pursuit of the benefit of the whole, with no thought to the goodness of invidualism. In other words, denying our God-given freedom of thought even for the good of the majority.]

“I was shocked when I learned Iowa and Mississippi have never elected a woman governor, senator or member of Congress,” Clinton told the paper. “There has got to be something at work here. How can Iowa be ranked with Mississippi? That’s not the quality. That’s not the communitarianism, that’s not the openness I see in Iowa.”

– Hillary Clinton, stated to the Des Moines Register,
October 2007, while campaigning in Iowa during the Primaries

Now, you may say Communitarianism is the opposite of libertarianism, and you may be right, but it is also the enemy ideologically to the United States as a Freedom Loving Constitutional Republic! We were not set up as a Socialist/Communist government. Which is the TRUE agenda of both Collectivism, and Communitarianism. And those who say, either ignorantly, or dishonestly that it’s not would end up paving the way for those who recognize it as such, and destroy our country along the way.

Conservatism, Individualism, Capitalism, and its friends in philosophical ideology are what’s best about the United States and what has made this country the most free in the world. We cannot let Collectivists, Communitarians, Socialists, and Communists oppress us like they have millions of other poor unfortunate souls across the world (See the Former Soviet Union (USSR), Stalin, Mao Tse Tung, Fidel Castro, etc…) and are doing to this day (see China, Chavez/Venezuela, Kim Jong Il/North Korea).

Thanks to “Nice Deb“, who brings news of the interview to the blogosphere, and to “Jet Jaguar” over on FreeRepublic.com who notified me of the posting of this expose at Ace of Spades.

Supreme Court Strikes a Blow Against Racism in U.S. Schools

Posted by Admin on June 29, 2007

Edited for typos & clarity – Saturday, June 30, 2007

The Supreme Court of the United States struck a blow against racism in our schools today — despite some of what you might have heard on your local news this evening. I, for one, am happy about that.

Martin Luther King, Jr. preached about judging people on the content of their character, and not the color of their skin. On Saturday, August 28, 1963, in Washington D.C. he spoke the following words;

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

– Martin Luther King, Jr., “I Have a Dream”, August 28, 2007

Affirmative action programs, and using race as the basis for ANYTHING in this country is the OPPOSITE of what MLK, Jr. preached. It is the OPPOSITE of what those who fought for civil rights were fighting for. I just saw on my local news a representative from the NAACP stating that this ruling set back Civil Rights causes. I see it as completely the opposite.

ALL schools should be of good enough quality to attend, should be safe enough to attend, and offer not only equal, but the BEST education you can offer to anyone. Read the rest of this entry »
