The Anti-Obama March on Washington – Millions in attendance?

Posted by Admin on September 13, 2009

UPDATED: There are updated numbers from the U.S. Parks Police — they now estimate that 1.2 Million Protesters attended the Grassroots March on Washington on 9/12/09.

March on Washington

The blog “Exposing Obama” has posted information about the march today including pictures of the crowds.  There are several different versions on the count going around.  NBC’s “own people” say at least hundreds of thousands”, and the Daily Mail in the UK are reporting up to 2 million were there.

They had to close down Pennsylvania Avenue to accomodate protestors who were trying to get to the mall.

This was a great day for our country, for so many to take time out and come tell our government “in person” that we are TIRED of the lies, and the out of control slide into a Communist or Fascist country.

Be sure to check out the coverage – print, video & pictures!

Obama Digs Another Hole with New Campaign Ad – PART II

Posted by Admin on September 12, 2008

Well, a few hours ago I posted information about an ad that Democratic Presidential Nominee Barack Obama had begun to air in various places around the country.  The title of the ad is “1982”, and if you haven’t seen it yet, you can view it at this URL: “New Obama Campaign Ad: “1982”.

Let’s run down 2 of the charges that Obama leveled against McCain in this ad…

OBAMA SAID: “Things have changed in 26 years, but McCain hasn’t.”

MISLEADING…
Just this morning (9/12/08) one of Joy Behar’s chief complaints expressed to John McCain when he went on the TV show “The View” was that McCain used to be a “maverick”, but that he was no longer that way.  McCain responded by saying that he was still the exact same person he’s always been.  It would seem that McCain’s own opponent agrees – McCain hasn’t changed in some very important ways over the last 26 years, and that is a good thing.

OBAMA SAID: “Admits he still doesn’t know how to use a computer” & “Can’t send an email”.

I hate to break it to Obama and his ad staff who are probably in the middle of congratulating themselves right now on their “new tone” attack ads, but I was right in the previous post where I postulated that perhaps John McCain did not use email, and did not type because I thought it may be difficult for him given his severe injuries in the crash of his fighter jet, and his 5+ subsequent years of torture and poor medical care in a POW camp in North Vietnam.

Following is an excerpt from an article that was posted on Forbes.com in which they reported – 0all the way back in 2000 – that McCain cannot type emails due to his injuries, and that his wife Cindy and he answer email together in the evenings – a daily ritual for the two.  It also shows that McCain is far from the computer illiterate, old and out of touch man Obama implied…

In certain ways, McCain was a natural Web candidate. Chairman of the Senate Telecommunications Subcommittee and regarded as the U.S. Senate’s savviest technologist, McCain is an inveterate devotee of email. His nightly ritual is to read his email together with his wife, Cindy. The injuries he incurred as a Vietnam POW make it painful for McCain to type. Instead, he dictates responses that his wife types on a laptop. “She’s a whiz on the keyboard, and I’m so laborious,” McCain admits.

I’m rather sad that I am right about this.  I would prefer that John McCain not have been injured in the Vietnam War, and I know the vast majority of Americans agree that we completely respect his service and sacrifice to our country.  However, I would like to also point out that this makes John McCain particularly suited to addressing some of the most pressing issues facing our country.  He knows what sacrifice is, and he’s seen first hand the brutal nature of war.  That, IMHO, makes him much better suited than a Freshman Senator with no military experience to lead our country during a time of war.  Whether we like it or not, we are there, our enemies are STILL there, and we need someone who knows what works and doesn’t work when it comes to diplomacy, and heaven forbid, military actions if needed.

Right now I would like to share with Obama something that he should have, and probably would’ve learned had he attended a less racist church for the last 20+ years…

Proverbs 16:18 (King James Version):
Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

For the Democrats who are becoming more and more disenchanted with Obama every day… Please try to look beyond your hatred for President Bush, and honestly look at your options here.  John McCain is NOT going to alter the Constitution, he is going to get the government back on track.  He recognizes that Bush was by no means perfect, and he wants to rectify that situation.  Please look with an open mind.  Visit his website, read his position on the issues, and don’t give in to knee-jerk reactions.

Barack Obama displays the hallmark traits of a Marxist.  His political campaign was launched in the home of an unrepentant known Communist “Revolutionary” Terrorist who bombed the Pentagon and the Capital building as the leader of the 60s terrorist organization the “Weather Underground” (sometimes referred to as “The Weatherman”).  He has accepted the endorsement of a very well-known, and rather radical socialist political group in Chicago throughout his career in the Daley Political Machine.  He has also spoken about attending socialist seminars in college at Columbia University.

Please also consider what socialism would indeed do to our country.  The first thing socialists do is take away the people’s rights, via “suspension” and it all goes down hill from there.  Consider this for a moment — let’s assume Obama is a righteous man, and “socialism would work if done the “right” way”.  What guarantee do we have that the next administration, or the one after that wouldn’t take advantage of the laws and plunge America into the hell that was the Soviet Union under the likes of Stalin, or Germany under Hitler, or China under Mao Tse-Tung?

Let’s join together and make our country strong, secure and prosperous.  We have the resources, and the know-how to make our country great again – as well as cleaning up Washington and getting rid of the special interests, and the “old boy network” and the corruption.  We can also work together to be responsible for our environment, and to tackle poverty and education issues by implementing all of our possible options in each area.  That American ingenuity, and ability to solve problems is one of the greatest things about our country.  Our freedom guarantees that we can pursue these things, and that ultimately we will be successful and not have to sacrifice any of our inalienable rights.

I know this may sound cheesy to some of you, but I’m really not bothered by that.  I have 4 children that I want to grow up in a peaceful world, and that demands that we take care of the threats facing our nation so that our enemies don’t have an opportunity to grow stronger, and to threaten us, and so our children are not the ones stuck with solving the problems.  That’s the hope I have for the future – a real hope built on solid, proven, successful ideals supported throughout the history of our country.  I honestly don’t know who can argue with that…

Well, thanks for listening to my somewhat rant! LOL  I do hope everyone has a great weekend – whether you agree with me or not! 😉

God bless,
LibertyRocks

Anarchist Hypocrisy – Planned Recruitment Center Protest (Torches & Cages?)

Posted by Admin on March 12, 2008

It has come to my attention (Credit to FReeper ConcreteBob) that an anarchist/anti-war/anti-recruiting group in Pittsburgh – Pittsburgh Organizing Group (POG – OrganizePittsburgh.org) is planning to have an old-fashioned medieval “torch march” on March 19, 2008! Their announced plans are to march carrying torches to the recruitment station, and “If the station remains open, we intend to evict it and everything inside of it, occupy the location, and transform it into something useful for the community.”.  They are also planning to bring with cages to place the military recruitment officers inside of.

Now, while it’s commendable to peacefully protest and stand up for what you believe in – no matter how crazy others may think you are – to conspire to commit felony destruction of federal (taxpayer owned) property and the kidnapping of Federal (Military) Officers while in the course of duty – not to mention a host of other various felony and criminal charges they could incur – is the height of stupidity, not to mention hypocritical. My guess is that they are counting on police being there to “hold them back” as they’ve alluded to in their announcement (convenient isn’t it?).

Below is a screenshot of their announcement which was posted on their website on February 20, 2008;

Wouldn’t it be interesting if they were allowed to go forth with their plans instead, and then force them to deal with the realities of their stupidity? As one poster, FReeper TaxControl, suggested over on FreeRepublic.com; the Recruiters should just protest vociferously that they don’t want to go into the cages, but let themselves be put inside. Then once inside, these military officers should pull out their cell phones and call the FBI to report the kidnapping of a federal officer in progress.

Then let the Feds deal with these punks who think they are above the law. Because, as I said, peaceful protesting is one thing – a right of these citizens that I fully support even though I don’t agree with them – destruction of federal property and kidnapping is another.

As another FReeper, Captain Rhino, pointed out if this group’s plans are successful there is a whole list of felonies (state & federal) that they will be guilty of including, but obviously not limited to; Felonious Tresspassing – felony (State & possibly Federal), Destruction of Federal Government Property – felony (Federal), Assaulting an officer in the course of duty – felony (Federal), Unlawful Detention – Felony (State & Federal), Kidnapping – felony (State & Federal). I’m guessing that in today’s atmosphere there are probably a few more things they could charge these people with – even up to treason (for abducting a military officer during a time of war — and no, I’m not positive on that, but it would make sense would it not?).

What’s intriguing about their plans – besides the fact that they are conspiring at this point to commit a host of federal felonies – is that it’s in direct violation of their group’s stated policy on planning actions of this sort as well. In a page on the group’s website entitled, “Hey POG why did you DO That? A Statement on what POG does and does not organize“, they state the following;

“As a group we absolutely never organize anything involving destruction of property or physical harm to human or non-human animals.”

nodestructionhighlightedcrop1.gif

Hmmm… someone better mention that to the person at POG who planned this event…

I really do hope the FBI will consider sending a clear message to this group – and all like them that believe NON-peaceful protest is acceptable as long as it’s aimed at those who they have pronounced as “criminals” – interestingly without due process which I’m sure they will insist upon if they are indeed arrested.

One clue for these people — it’s not exactly going to endear you to the public (some of whom may even agree with you) if you insist on protesting in this manner. Even most liberals I know would be telling you the same exact thing.

Supreme Court Strikes a Blow Against Racism in U.S. Schools

Posted by Admin on June 29, 2007

Edited for typos & clarity – Saturday, June 30, 2007

The Supreme Court of the United States struck a blow against racism in our schools today — despite some of what you might have heard on your local news this evening. I, for one, am happy about that.

Martin Luther King, Jr. preached about judging people on the content of their character, and not the color of their skin. On Saturday, August 28, 1963, in Washington D.C. he spoke the following words;

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

– Martin Luther King, Jr., “I Have a Dream”, August 28, 2007

Affirmative action programs, and using race as the basis for ANYTHING in this country is the OPPOSITE of what MLK, Jr. preached. It is the OPPOSITE of what those who fought for civil rights were fighting for. I just saw on my local news a representative from the NAACP stating that this ruling set back Civil Rights causes. I see it as completely the opposite.

ALL schools should be of good enough quality to attend, should be safe enough to attend, and offer not only equal, but the BEST education you can offer to anyone. Read the rest of this entry »
