A posting on the Chicago Tribune website states that sources tell them a key witness in the former-Governor Blagojevich’s corruption case regarding the US Senate seat is dead.
Christopher Kelly, who cited Federal Attorney pressure in his decision to plead guilty recently in regards to charges against him, is reportedly dead at the age of 51 years old. He was due to testify for the government in the upcoming Blagojevich trial on corruption charges that arose from an alleged “pay-to-play” scheme on the part of Blagojevich in naming a replacement for Obama in Congress.
