~ SPECIAL REPORT: ABC LIES! IM “teen” an ADULT – hires McVeigh’s Criminal Defense Lawyer…

Dear Readers,
     
First, let me say that I have no compassion for Mr. Foley if he indeed took advantage of his position and authority to have sexual contact with a minor – regardless of the other details like his homosexuality and all – that doesn’t even matter at this point (as in if he’s guilty he needs to be held accountable).
     
BUT, it seems that Foley did NOT have sexually explicit exchanges with a minor at all, but rather an adult who was over 18 years old!
     
Apparently ABC Online accidently printed an unredacted copy of an IM between Mark Foley and the person the media has been saying was underage was 18 years old, and an adult when the sexually explicit IMs that have been all over the media were exchanged.
     
Perhaps the most disturbing part of all of this now is why did ABC’s Brian Ross lie about this? And, why now are they not correcting their mistake, but instead focusing on how this affects the Republican party, Hastert, and the upcoming election. If this whole scandal is based on non-factual information, then what is really going on here? It is not acceptable for our media to mislead the public especially about charges as serious as pedophilia!
     
I do admit that I haven’t been following this story closely at all, but this latest article out of Oklahoma that has come to my attention is very interesting, IMHO. It has got me wanting to find out more about this whole scandal, and what I’m learning is shocking. I’m personally wondering why Mr. Edmund, who exchanged the IMs with Foley and claims to be a victim, feels he needs a criminal defense lawyer? Why is he not getting a trial lawyer specializing in sexual abuse/assault cases on retainer instead?
