To My Readers:

Just thought I’d pass along word that I’m still recovering, but doing well. I appreciate all the kind thoughts and prayers everyone has shared. I should be feeling better than ever in about a week and a half or so the doctor said. I think the daily news will continue to be “down” for a few more days. I’ve got some ideas I’d like to implement on the blog as well, so I think it’s a good time to take advantage of my situation and do some “behind the scenes” maintenance.

I hope everyone is doing well — Take care & Stay Safe!

Following are “old” news links for articles between Aug. 11 & 13. Since I am “behind” due to my recuperation I will publish “make-up” posts as I am able…

[Notes: Police entered a family’s apartment without a warrant or permission, claiming a door was left open. The owner, Wilfred Rousseau stated that it was not possible the door was left open due to the risk of their cat getting out, who happens to be in heat. Rousseau’s 15 year old daughter Mirage came home to find the officers looking in her and her brother’s bedrooms. She told the Union Leader that she asked them what they were doing inside the apartment, and according to Mirage they told her that the door had been left open, and that they had been looking for a 14-year-old runaway. The night shift commander Lt. James Stankiewicz apologized when Rousseau called to complain, stating that officers should not have entered the apartment — they had no one’s permission and they did not have a warrant. The Rousseau’s stated they are looking forward to moving to Homestead, Florida in a few months.]
