To my readers:
This issue of News Links is incomplete. I will add the rest of today’s links as soon as I am able. I wanted to let everyone know that I will be having a medical procedure done on my neck in the morning (8/11/06) so there will probably be no news links for several days. I am still planning on keeping up to date, and adding information regarding the Heathrow Terrorist Plot. Thanks for your support, prayers, & understanding. – Michelle

UPDATE: (8/13/06)
The procedure on my neck went well. I’m on some pretty strong pain killers for the next few days at least, so I’m not sure what I’ll be able to get done this coming week or so. I have finished pulling together this list though, and it is now complete… I’ll post again soon! – Michelle

Authorities say the terrorists were going to use a liquid explosive hidden in a “sports drink” type container, as well as a disposable camera to be used as a detonator. Different people were supposed to bring different items on to plane

Authorities say 5 other suspects are still at large (as of 9:00 pm (CST), and are being hunted by police agencies across the globe. Governments and security agencies around the world have raised terror threat levels for air travel in response to the foiled plot.
