He was released on $5,000 bond, but did not enter a plea when he appeared in court. When police searched his home after the school shooting they reportedly found five rifles, two shotguns, and a pistol. White had been previously convicted of two felonies - burglary in Florida, and possession of a controlled substance in California. According to federal law, a person convicted of a crime with a sentence of more than one year in prison are barred from possession of firearms. His 13-year-old son has been charged with first-degree assault, armed criminal action and making terrorist threats. The 13-year-old will be tried in juvenile court.]
